BURRITO INGREDIENTS:
Diego’s packet of either Go Well Classic, Low Carb, Gluten Free or Sourdough Wraps.
~1/3 cup of *Sliced Carne Asada or *Mexican Shredded Beef
*Pickled red onions (or store-bought or drained Fermented Red Cabbage)
White cabbage, finely shredded
Sour cream, thinned with a bit of water & favourite hot sauce (for burrito filling)
Crumbled feta cheese
Optional: *Guacamole or 1 medium diced avocado
Optional sides: *Mexican Rice and *Mexican Pinto Beans
BURRITO MAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare Wraps:
Warm the number of wraps you need according to the package instructions.
Keep the wraps warm by placing them in a tortilla warmer or wrapping them in a clean tea towel.
Assemble the Burrito:
Lay the warm wrap flat.
In the centre, add the fillings, leaving a 10 cm gap at the ends to avoid overfilling.
Wrap the Burrito:
Fold the ends of the wrap inward, then roll tightly from the bottom upwards, keeping everything secure inside.
If you're taking the burrito on the go, you can wrap it in baker’s paper and tie it with string or tape to keep it secure.
Serve your Burritos with Mexican Rice and Mexican Pinto Beans for a complete meal.
