Filling per Burrito:
*¼ cup Mexican Shredded Beef
*1 ½ tbsp Mexican Rice
*1 ½ tbsp Mexican Pinto Beans
*½ tbsp Pickled red onions
*½ tbsp Pickled diced carrots
Optional Ingredients per Burrito:
1-2 tsp Crumbled Fetta
Basic Guacamole or Chopped avocado
½ tbsp Sour Cream (whipped with a ¼ tsp of water for drizzle)
*1-2 tsp Salsa Verde or Fresca or Hot Sauce of choice
To wrap:
Brown paper, string, or tape (for wrapping to take on the go)
Instructions:
Warm the Wraps:
Warm the number of wraps you want to use according to the packet instructions.
Keep the wraps warm by placing them in a tortilla warmer or wrapping them in a clean tea towel.
Prepare the Filling Station:
Arrange covered bowls with the hot ingredients (Mexican Shredded Beef, Mexican Rice, and Mexican Pinto Beans) and cold ingredients (Pickled red onions, pickled diced carrots, optional ingredients like crumbled feta, guacamole, chopped avocado, sour cream, salsa, and hot sauce).
Assemble the Burrito:
Lay the warm wrap flat and place the following ingredients in the center (leaving a 10 cm gap at both ends):
½ tbsp shredded Mexican Shredded Beef
1 ½ tbsp Mexican Rice
1 ½ tbsp Mexican Pinto Beans
Pickled red onions and diced carrots
Optional: crumbled feta, guacamole or avocado, sour cream, and salsa or hot sauce
Wrap the Burrito:
Fold the ends of the wrap inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom up, ensuring all fillings are secure.
For convenience, you can wrap the burrito in baker’s paper and tie the ends with string or tape.
